ANNOUNCEMENTS

All people who have been baptized with water in the Name of the Holy Trinity are invited to receive Communion with us today. Children may receive at their parent’s discretion.  If you are a visitor or a newcomer, please fill out one of the cards in the pew and place it in the offering plate or give it to an usher.  The Book of Common Prayer, or Prayer Book, is the red book in the pews. Page numbers are denoted in the bulletin with the shorthand “BCP”.  The Hymnal 1982 is the blue book.  The “S” numbers indicate Service music found in the front of the Hymnal, while the other numbers are hymns found in the latter section of the book.

Children are welcome to participate fully in our worship.  For your convenience, we also provide nursery care for children, infant through preschool during our 11:00 service, in room 1 of All Saints Hall. The nursery room will be open during the 9:15 service for those parents who find it necessary to take children out of the service and who need a place to stay with them until the service is over.

Fellowship Hour.  Please join us for fellowship at All Saints Hall after the 11:00 service. Please sign up to host fellowship at the Communications Center in All Saints Hall.

Summer Schedule.  We will have a modified Sunday worship schedule during the months of July and August only.  Services will be at 8:00 and 10:00.  One month will be in the style of the 9:15 Family Eucharist and the other will be in the style of the 11:00 service.

Book of Job.  Why do bad things happen to good people?  The answer may be found in the Book of Job which is being discussed during the 10:15 Christian Education in adult classroom #4.  The Book of Job will be covered until the end of  May 2008.  No need to attend all sessions.

The Christ Church family offers its sympathy to Chris Westcott whose mother died this week.  Please keep the entire family in your prayers.

A Big Thank You from ECW!  The Episcopal Church Women say thanks to all of you who rented spaces, brought in baked goods, and worked at our booth. You helped make our spring fund raiser a big success.  Special thanks go to Janine Gupton and RAAI for donating the plants, Shirley Pozzato for the plants from her beautiful flower gardens, Elaine and George Wyant for setting up our tent, marking the parking lot and distributing flowers, Lynn Thompson for making the flyers and above all to God who blessed our dedication and hard work with a beautiful day.
